Valley View Nursing Home incorporates MicroScrub
system into cleaning program
Valley View Nursing Home in Montoursville, Pennsylvania, recently
incorporated the MicroScrub cleaning system into its arsenal of
cleaning products, a move which has saved the long-term care provider
a significant amount of time, money, and manpower.
"I'm really glad we decided to try the MicroScrub system,"
explains Diana Bower, housekeeping and laundry director at Valley
View. "The MicroScrub system saves time, saves energy, and
leaves rooms much cleaner than the traditional 'mop and bucket'
approach. We now save ten minutes a room, and infection control
has greatly increased."
"With the MicroScrub system, our staff no longer has to continually
dump buckets as they mop," Bower continues. "In fact,
what used to require up to seven buckets of water can now be achieved
with one bucket. And, because MicroScrub mops are so much lighter
than our old mops, my staff is less susceptible to strained muscles.
Overall, the MicroScrub system is one of the best cleaning product
investments we've ever made here at Valley View."
Bower adds that working with Susquehanna Paper over the last ten
years has been a consistently enjoyable situation. "At Valley
View, we rely on Susquehanna Paper for all of our paper products
and cleaning supplies. The relationship we have with Susquehanna
Paper has been fantastic, and their customer service department
is the best I've ever worked with. All supplies are delivered in
a timely, reliable fashion, and any product issues we've ever had
have been dealt with quickly and effectively."
A system of lightweight, easy-to-use mopping and dusting products,
MicroScrub allows facilities around the world to cut back on cleaning
costs by reducing chemical usage and time spent on cleaning tasks.
